The MV Agusta-Loncin Motor partnership will bear 4 bikes that will be offered in India.

MV Agusta Brutale 800 Test Ride Review
MV Agusta’s new affordable naked bike will probably draw inspiration from the Brutale 800

MV Agusta in partnership with China’s Loncin Motor Company has decided to build small capacity motorcycles which will be available on sale in India as well. As of now, a total of 4 bikes will first come out of this partnership. The new models will arrive on our shores via the CKD route with a good portion of localisation to keep their costs low and aggressive. It is confirmed that the motorcycles will have a displacement ranging from 350-500cc.

MV Agusta will design these motorcycles at the Castiglioni Research Centre in Italy and manufacture them at Loncin’s plant in Chongqing, China. One can expect the MV Agusta Brutale 400 to be sold in India starting from as early as 2021.

It is possible that the MV Agusta will bring a naked, a supersport an adventure and a neo-retro motorcycle out of the partnership. The naked will probably draw inspiration from the Brutale 800 while the supersport will be a smaller sibling of the F3 800. Meanwhile, the small-capacity ADV would follow footsteps of the Turismo Veloce 800 and the upcoming modern classic motorcycle may be a smaller sibling of the Dragster 800 RR.
