2021 MV Agusta Turismo Veloce
The tourer comes with a large 21.5-litre fuel tank

The MV Agusta Turismo Veloce range has been updated for 2021, just like the Superveloce series of motorcycles.

Comprising the Turismo Veloce Lusso, Lusso SCS, RC SCS, and Rosso, the sport-touring family now come powered by a Euro 5-compliant 798cc 3-cylinder engine that makes a maximum of 110 HP and 80 Nm of torque.

Now, the engine produces 12 percent more torque between 3000 and 6000 RPM, has new fuel injectors, among other changes, while the gearbox has extended ratios which will help in reducing fuel consumption and the bi-directional quickshifter is said to offer smoother shifts.

MV has also fitted a new exhaust to the Turismo Veloce family and the kind of difference all these changes bring can be ascertained only when one takes the bike for a ride.

However, the powertrain is a robust unit and MV has full confidence in it that on 21st June, the brand will use the 2021 Turismo Veloce Lusso SCS to travel 1900 km (or more) in 24 hours with the goal of covering 11 European countries.

That is all good. But what about the electronics package you ask? Well, the 2021 MV Agusta Turismo Veloce is equipped with a 6-axis IMU, cornering ABS, lean-sensitive traction control and there is a 5.5-inch TFT display as well.

When connected to the rider’s mobile phone, the screen can mirror the phone’s functions, display turn-by-turn navigation and the sport tourer family comes with a satellite tracker as well.

Other revisions that have been made to the 2021 MV Agusta Turismo Veloce include a 20 mm lower seat height, additional seat padding for added comfort and a taller windscreen.

Equipped with Sachs semi-active suspension (on all but Rosso model which comes with adjustable regular suspension and without a few kit due to it being the more affordable model), the bikes can be fitted with side panniers and top case (standard on SCS models) as well. One other thing to note is that the Turismo Veloce RC SCS is numbered to 1500 units.

Prices start from 21,600 euros which translates to Rs. 19.40 lakhs in Indian money and the chances of these bikes coming to India are slim.
