Ather Rizta S 3.7 kWh Launched, Gets Larger Battery & Less Features Compared To The Rizta Z 3.7 kWh
Ather has launched the Rizta S 3.7 kWh. It is the more affordable version of the Rizta S, priced at Rs. 1.38 Lakh (ex-showroom). This Rizta S features the larger 3.7 kWh battery, delivering an IDC range of 159 Km.
The Rizta S 3.7 kWh is a mid-spec variant, featuring the larger 3.7 kWh battery pack. This is aimed at riders who want to have a larger battery but not all the features of the top-spec Rizta Z, where it was offered. The Rizta Z was the only way to get the larger battery until now.
Features
In terms of features, the S trim is less comprehensive as compared to the Z trim. The Rizta S retains the 7-inch DeepView LCD screen, auto hold, emergency stop signal, turn-by-turn navigation, and Ather’s fall-safe feature. The e-scooter’s 34-litre underseat storage remains unchanged, making it a practical option in the market.
Battery & Range
The Rizta S and Z share the 3.7 kWh battery pack. It produces 5.76 HP and 22 NM of torque, whilst the top speed is limited to 80 Km/hr. The Rizta S 3.7 kWh delivers a range of 159 Km (IDC). Ather also offers access to Ather Grid’s 3900 fast charging points across the country.
The Ather Rizta S 3.7 kWh is positioned between the top-spec Rizta Z 3.7 kWh and Rizta S 2.9 kWh. This variant also comes with the brand’s Eight70 battery warranty program, for 8 years/70,000 Km. This can be added with the Pro Pack and the Over-The-Air updates.
