Bajaj has removed the Avenger 220 Street from the website

Bajaj Auto is no longer offering the Avenger 220 Street in India. The Indian bike maker has discontinued the 220 Street cruiser motorcycle and has removed the bike from their website.

The Avenger 220 Street didn’t get a BS6 update. Now the Avenger 220 Cruise is the only 220cc Avenger on offer in their portfolio.

The 220 Street wasn’t doing well in numbers. The more affordable 160 Street might be cannibalising the elder brother.

It was powered by a 220cc, single-cylinder, BS4 engine producing 19.3 PS and 17.5 Nm of torque. It was equipped with single-channel ABS, telescopic forks and twin rear shock absorbers.

Now that the Avenger 220 Street is gone. There are only two Avenger products available on sale right now – Avenger 160 Street and Avenger 220 Cruise.
