The country’s 2 wheeler major Bajaj Auto Limited, had recently treated the Pulsar 150 and 180 and the 220cc models with their Speed Lines Treatment which is nothing but just an extra addition of colour and graphics to incorporate the essence of speed and agility. Now it’s time the youngest sibling of the Pulsars, the 135 get the same treatment as its big brothers. Bajaj has launched the Pulsar 135 with the speed lines treatment and also a brand new colour. Bajaj Auto has launched the Pulsar 135 with only 2 paint schemes, black and red. Now, the company has added blue-black and red-black paint jobs to the Pulsar 135, which gives it imposing presence.

The Pulsar 135 also gets few minor tweaks apart from the speed lines and the paint job. The bike gets a engine crankcase, a gold-silver coloured clutch cover and all black finish on the rear grab rails and the clip-on handlebars. Under the seat, things however remain the same. The bike is powered by the same 135 cc displacement engine that churns out 13.5 PS of power at 9000 RPM and a good 11.4 Nm of torque at 7500 RPM. The bike features a 4 valve technology enabling it to be very rev-friendly and thus is able to deliver such a power figures at high RPMs. The engine is mated to a 5 speed transmission. One of the key features of the bike would be its slightly different styling than its siblings. The styling is sharper and on the aggressive side. So good is the styling, that the company decided to keep some parts like the turn indicators in the upcoming next generation Pulsar same as the current one on the 135. The Pulsar 135 with the new paint job and the addition of speed lines still retails at Rs. 52,000.
