Bajaj Auto has silently launched the Pulsar 220F with a BSIV engine. The bike is priced at Rs. 91,000/- (ex-showroom, Thane), which makes it pricier than the older model by approximately Rs. 4000/-. The bike also comes with slightly tweaked cosmetics and a few other changes while the engine remains the same.

As visible in the pictures, the bike gets some new stripes and decals while almost everything else looks similar. You also get a new instrument cluster with blue backlit, softer cushioning for the seats, red and black colour scheme, manual choke, black exhaust end can and red strips on the wheels.

It is said that the timing chain has been changed for quieter operation and power delivery is also likely to be more linear and smoother now. The bike comes with the same engine that produces 21.05 PS of power and 19.12 Nm of torque. The official ARAI-claimed fuel efficiency figure of the BSIV engine is still unknown.
