2021 Pulsar NS 200 Pewter Grey
The new range of Pulsars are expected to come with a new design direction

New generation Bajaj Pulsar RS250 and NS250 are scheduled to launch sometime this year. While the exact timelines are no confirmed yet, the new range of Pulsars are expected to hit the showrooms later this year.

Since we are talking about new generation Pulsars, we can expect a new design direction by Bajaj Auto. Both the Pulsar RS250 and NS250 will be based on the KTM Duke 250 platform, sharing most of the mechanicals with the orange quarter-litre bike.

While the naked streetfighter Pulsar NS250 will compete against the Yamaha FZ250 and Suzuki Gixxer 250, the fully faired Bajaj Pulsar RS250 will lock horns against the Suzuki Gixxer SF 250.

Along with the new styling we can expect a lot of new features with the new Pulsars. Most importantly, a new all-digital instrument cluster with colour display and Bluetooth connectivity.

Bajaj Auto is likely to introduce connected tech with the new range of bikes offering smartphone connectivity.

The engine will be borrowed from the Duke 250 as well that also does duty on the Bajaj Dominar 250. It is a 248.8cc unit that produces 27 BHP of power at 8500 RPM and 23.5 Nm of torque at 6500 RPM. While the Dominar 250 gets a different state of tune, we can expect the new Pulsars to have slightly different tuning for better performance.
