Bajaj Auto has updated the Pulsar range with new dual-tone colours and released a new TVC announcing the same. The colours extend to the Pulsar 200 NS, 220 F and the 150 models and comprise of red-black, silver-black and blue-black shades. The new colours come in addition to the standard dual-tone white and black shades that were launched earlier this year on all the three models. The addition of new colours has been made to keep the model fresh and young till a comprehensive update is launched.

With the Discover 150 launched in the lower end of the 150cc segment, the new Pulsar 150 is expected to go more upmarket and is scheduled for a facelift later this year. The updated model will get design cues from the 200 NS with a comprehensively redesigned body and front fascia, along with the addition of new features, better power output as well as improved ride and handling. The rear will also be updated with a monoshock suspension, a much needed respite for Pulsar aficionados.

The Pulsar 200 NS on the other hand is not in for any changes this year, but will be joined by the Pulsar 200 SS that is most likely to be launched in 2015. The 200 SS is a fully faired version of the 200 NS, but will get improved build quality, lower NVH levels and the inclusion of fuel-injection technology. The power output will also see a significant rise at around 26 BHP, but is still said to return an impressive fuel efficiency of 48 km/l. Expect the new 200 SS to be priced at around Rs. 1.50 lakhs (on-road, Mumbai) when launched next year.
