Apart from ABS, the TNT 600i stays identical to the currently sold model

Benelli has updated its TNT 600i with an ABS option. The brand will slowly phase in ABS kits for its entire range of motorcycles which will take about an year to accomplish. The availability of ABS will make the mad performance of the TNT 600i more accessible to newer riders looking to upgrade to these higher capacity machines. The move will also ensure that the bike agrees with the government’s upcoming safety norms for 2017, which will require all manufacturers to offer ABS on their two-wheelers (above 125cc).

Apart from the addition of ABS there are no other changes to the bike. The ABS is switchable so for those who like stoppies and locking the rear wheel, they can turn off ABS. The TNT 600i is powered by an inline 4-cylinder 600cc engine which puts down 84 HP of power at 11,500 RPM and 54.6 Nm of torque at 10,500 RPM, mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

To keep costs in check, the Italian motorcycles are locally assembled via CKD kits at DSK’s Wai facility in Pune. The ABS variant is available for a price of Rs. 5.73 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). Since its entry into India, Benelli has received a favourable response from Indian customers.
