The upcoming Definition CE 04 electric scooter from BMW Motorrad has been spied recently out on public roads and we are pleased to inform that it looks very much like the model that was revealed in November last year.

The mule, which does not sport any camouflage, is painted in Black and upfront, the e-scooter has a small flyscreen, LED headlights, huge indicator stalks, and winglet-type section which is a part of the rider footrest section.

Along the side, the “floating” bench seat adds to the futuristic theme and although there is no flat footwell area, BMW seems to have added some recesses that could act as stowage.

Unlike the concept model, the production-spec Definition CE 04 will come with tail lights integrated into the indicator stalks. But, much like the concept, the BMW Definition CE 04 spied recently has a large (10.25-inch) digital instrument display.

Basically, what has changed between the near-series version showcased in November 2020 and this production-spec test mule is that a tyre hugger has been added at the rear.

We know that the scooter will come with an illuminated storage compartment with access from the side, while telescopic forks at the front and a one-sided shock at the rear form the suspension. A belt drive transfers the electric motor’s power to the rear wheel.

Like many upcoming electric scooters, the CE 04 should come with plentiful new age features like navigation, smartphone connectivity, keyless go, to name a few and enough range to pootle around town for a day.
