The 50,000th BMW G 310 R rolled out few days back

The long-term strategic partnership between TVS Motor Company and BMW Motorrad has achieved yet another milestone after the 50,000th BMW G 310 R was rolled out from Hosur plant of TVS. The 50,000th motorcycle rolled out in the presence of Dr. Markus Schramm, Head of BMW Motorrad and Mr. KN Radhakrishnan, Director and CEO, TVS Motor Company.

The collaboration between TVS and BMW is to oversee manufacturing of sub-500cc motorcycles. The partnership gave birth to a new 310cc platform. A 313cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, mated to a 6-speed transmission powers the BMW 310cc twins. It produces 34 BHP of peak power and 28 Nm of peak torque while both the bikes get dual-channel ABS as standard.
