BMW G310R and G310 GS bookings have been unofficially started for existing BMW customers only.

The BMW G310R will rival the KTM Duke 390, Mahindra Mojo and the Bajaj Dominar 400

BMW Motorrad has started accepting unofficial bookings for the G310R and G310 GS bikes in India. However, these bookings are being taken only in Delhi and from current BMW customers only. Current BMW customers can book a G310R or a G310 GS for a token amount of Rs. 50,000/-.

A common man like you and me will have to wait until BMW Motorrad officially starts accepting the bookings. BMW dealership in Delhi reports that all bikes from the first lot will be delivered together on the same day. The tentative delivery timeline is mid-July. Expect the company to announce the prices for both the bikes by July 2018 and deliveries to start post that.

The G310R and G310 GS share a lot of components with each other including the engine. Both the Bimmers come powered by a 313cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 33.6 BHP of power and 28 Nm of torque. The powertrain comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. The duo gets features such as inverted forks, dual-channel ABS and a fully digital instrument cluster. The G310R is expected to be priced under Rs. 2.5 lakhs while the adventure-tourer G310 GS is likely to be priced under Rs. 3 lakhs (both prices, ex-showroom).
