The BMW M8 Coupe has an electronically capped top speed of 250 km/hr.

BMW M8 Coupe India
Will offer an all-wheel-drive system as standard

The BMW M8 Coupe has been spied testing in Gurgaon, Haryana by Harmit, an avid MotorBeam reader. The heavily camouflaged test mule gives away the coupe’s sharp creased lines. The body is extended from the A-pillar in a downward slope for a sleeker silhouette.

Engine duties on the BMW M8 Coupe are lauded on a 4.4-litre, twin-turbo V8 petrol powertrain, producing 600 PS of maximum power and 750 Nm of peak torque. The herculean engine will be paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and gets an all-wheel-drive system as standard. It is claimed to sprint from 0-100 km/hr in just 3.3 seconds. The top speed is electronically capped at 250 km/hr but can be boosted to 305 km/hr by opting for the M Driver’s Package.

The BMW M8 Coupe gets a ‘Track’ drive mode, sportier exhaust system, firmer suspension with different wheel design. M carbon-ceramic brakes are available on option while M compound brakes are standard. If these configurations aren’t exciting enough, there’s a BMW M8 Coupe ‘Competition’ model to rattle things up. It gets a 4.4-litre engine cranking 625 PS of power and a peak torque of 750 Nm. The coupe claims to dash 0-100km/hr 0.1 seconds faster at just 3.2 seconds.

The BMW M8 Coupe is expected to be available in India in the first quarter of 2020.
