CFMoto 250 CL-X
It comes with good styling that is inspired by a certain Italian motorcycle

The CFMoto 250 CL-X is a retro-style derivative of the firm’s 250NK

CFMoto has taken its sweet time to reveal the 250 CL-X, but here it is in all its retro-style glory and, lo and behold, it looks like the smaller version of the 700 CL-X!

The new quarter litre motorcycle from the Chinese manufacturer uses the underpinnings of the 250NK naked bike. But, looks-wise, both the motorcycles could not be further apart.

While the 250NK is a modern naked machine, the 250 CL-X has retro styling through and through. Up front the motorcycle has a circular headlamp, a short fender, and a raised handlebar.

CFMoto 250 CL-X Side
The riding position will be more upright in this motorcycle

Along the sides, the bike’s shapely tank, radiator shrouds, frame, stepped seat, underbelly exhaust and short tail can be seen and at the back, the 250 CL-X uses the same tail light design as the bigger CL-X.

While the lighting units are all LEDs, the retro-style quarter litre machine also comes with a digital dash. It is powered by a 249cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder motor tuned to produce 28 HP and 22 Nm.

Riding on alloy wheels, the CFMoto 250 CL-X comes equipped with inverted front forks, a rear monoshock and a disc brake on each wheel with ABS assist.

It is not known if the 250 CL-X will ever make it to India. After all, the Chinese brand did not fancy bringing the 700 CL-X to the subcontinent. Nonetheless, we’ll keep our fingers crossed.
