Datsun GO Cross, the crossover vehicle that already been showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo in Delhi, is likely to be launched in 2017 in India. After seeing the positive response to the Datsun GO Cross, Nissan has fast tracked the project. This concept vehicle has been built on the same 7-seater platform of the GO+ MPV. This vehicle will be the flagship model for the Japanese company.

On the outside, the Datsun GO Cross gets a distinctive front-end with a hexagonal grille, swept-back headlamps with LED lights and fog lamps, these all gives a very attractive appeal to the car. The crossover will be equipped with roof rails, additional body paneling, large alloy wheels and roof mounted spoiler. It will get the highest ground clearance in the segment. Into the cabin, the vehicle will feature a 5-seater configuration and it might get a new dashboard.

Under the hood, the Datsun GO Cross is likely to get the same 1.2-litre 3-cylinder petrol engine as well as the 1.5-litre 4-cylinder dCi diesel engine. The petrol version will produce 67 BHP of power at 5000 RPM and peak torque of 104 Nm at 4000 RPM. Whereas the oil burner churns 63 BHP power at 4000 RPM and peak torque of 160 Nm at 2000 RPM.
