DSK Motowheels will be launching the Benelli BN251/TNT250 and the Keeway Blackster cruiser in July 2015 while the other bikes will be launched in February.

DSK Motowheels will soon be launching seven new bikes in the Indian market. These bikes will be from Italian manufacturer Benelli’s stable. The Benelli BN 302, BN 600I, BN 600GT, TNT 899 and TNT 1130R will be launched in February 2015 and currently the bikes are undergoing homologation at ARAI in Pune. Apart from these bikes, the company will also introduce the BN 251/ TNT 250 and the Blackster in India. Both of these bikes are developed by Keeway by getting engineering inputs from Benelli. These two bikes will be launched by July 2015. Both Benelli and Keeway are owned by Chinese company Qianjiang.

The Benelli BN 251/TNT 250 is powered by a 249cc engine producing 24.2 HP of power and 21 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission. The bike has a seat height of 780 mm and a ground clearance of 130 mm. Its fuel tank capacity is 13.5-litres. The Keeway brand sells motorcycles, scooters, ATVs, EVs with engines ranging from 50cc to 600cc and DSK Motowheels will be launch the Blackster cruiser in India. The Blackster gets a 249cc engine producing 19.4 BHP of power and 18.7 Nm of torque. The engine is paired to a 5-speed transmission.

DSK will be upping its production facility at Wai. Currently, the company manufactures 10 Hyosung bikes in a day which translates to roughly 3000 units a year in a single shift. The company will add a new shift while a new production facility will take at least two years to get operational. The new factory will have provisions for product assembly only and a full-fledged production plant might take time. DSK is aiming to produce 1 lakh units at the new plant. The company is also looking to set up Benelli dealerships in Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Kolkata, Bangalore, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad and Chandigarh.
