FB Mondial Piega 452 To Debut At India Bike Week 2025 — Marks Brand’s Return To India

The legendary Italian motorcycle marque FB Mondial is making its grand return to India through Motohaus India, with the unveiling of the Piega 452 at India Bike Week 2025. This launch will mark the revival of one of Italy’s most iconic motorcycle brands, renowned for its rich racing heritage, design craftsmanship, and timeless Italian styling.

Styling

The FB Mondial Piega 452 embodies a sporty naked motorcycle design, combining Italian flair with modern aggression. Its sharp, muscular lines and minimalist styling give it a distinctive streetfighter stance. The bike bears some resemblance to the Matter Aera, especially in its body line and frontal headlight elements, yet sets itself apart with unique touches such as the under-tail exhaust and semi-covered rear wheel, which add a bespoke aesthetic rarely seen in this segment.

Notably, the Piega 452 will also be the only motorcycle in India under the 500cc category to feature a single-sided swingarm, underscoring its premium engineering and design sophistication. The golden USD forks upfront do leave a bold mark in design stance.

Engine

At the heart of the Piega 452 is a 449.5cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine, producing 47 bhp at 9500 rpm and 39 Nm of torque at 7600 rpm. It also comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. This setup promises refined performance with smooth power delivery, appealing to both spirited riders and daily enthusiasts alike. The motorcycle weighs 176 kg, offering a strong power-to-weight balance that ensures agile handling and impressive acceleration.

Chassis & Suspension

Built around a lightweight yet rigid chassis, the Piega 452 is designed to offer nimble dynamics and precise handling. It comes equipped with a 10-litre fuel tank and a seat height of 820 mm, making it accessible to a wide range of riders while retaining a confident road presence.

While official suspension details are yet to be confirmed, the Piega 452 is expected to feature high-quality upside-down front forks and a mono-shock rear suspension, tuned for a balance between comfort and sportiness.

Features

While details for the India-spec version are awaited, the Piega 452 is expected to offer a modern TFT display, LED lighting, and advanced electronic aids consistent with its European specification. Riders can expect a premium experience with technology that complements the brand’s focus on performance and sophistication.

The unveiling of the Piega 452 symbolizes not just a new product launch but a revival of the FB Mondial legacy in India. Motohaus India, already known for introducing Brixton Motorcycles and VLF Scooters, continues to expand its portfolio of premium international brands.

Headquartered in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, Motohaus has also established a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility capable of producing over 25,000 vehicles annually. Alongside new launches, Motohaus is yet to reach Tier 1 cities. It however aims make it reach all the Tier 1 cities and extend comprehensive after-sales and service support to existing FB Mondial owners, ensuring a seamless ownership experience.
