Bajaj Pulsar 375 Rendering Front

Bajaj-KTM recently launched the KTM Duke 390 in India with an aggressive price tag, thanks to high localization level. Bajaj Auto is now readying up the Pulsar 375, which is the Duke 390’s cousin to a great extent. Both the performance oriented bikes will be sharing the same engine components but different body style. The range topping Bajaj Pulsar will be treated with full fairing and twin headlights. As you can see from the renderings, the motorcycle will feature sharp styling elements on muscular panels.

The Pulsar 375 will be the first bike from Bajaj Auto to feature full fairing. Powering the bike will be a 373cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine with fuel injection, which will produce a maximum power output of around 40 BHP with a peak torque figure of around 32 Nm, mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. In terms of suspension, expect standard telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock system at the rear. On the braking front, it will get equipped with single rotor disc brakes at both front and rear wheels.

With such strong performance available on the Pulsar 375, we expect Bajaj Auto to offer ABS at least as an option. The company will position the Pulsar 375 under the Duke 390 as in the case of Pulsar 200 NS and Duke 200. The manufacturer is likely to hike the price of the Duke 390 in the coming months to make some space for the Pulsar 375. The launch is likely to happen by the end of this year and we expect Bajaj Auto to price the Pulsar 375 under Rs. 1.50 lakhs (ex-showroom).
