2014 Hero Karizma ZMR Review

Hero MotoCorp is India’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer. The company is soon planning a product offensive by launching three new products in early 2015 and also upgrading twelve of its products in the festive season later this year. Apart from this, the company plans to begin construction of its Gujarat plant soon and is optimistic about beginning operations in the third quarter of 2015. The plant will have a production capacity of 1.8 million units per annum while the company already has a capacity of 7.85 million units per annum.

Hero MotoCorp will be launching two all new scooters in early 2015. Apart from these scooters, the manufacturer will also launch a new bike. The company currently has a huge portfolio of products and twelve of them will be receiving updates later this year. Hero MotoCorp will add new features as well as upgrade the engines on twelve of its two-wheelers and all of them will be introduced together. The festive season is a very optimistic one for manufacturers and Hero is aiming to sell a huge number of products this year, hopefully more than the 6 lakh sales which it received in the previous year’s festive season.

Hero MotoCorp is also looking to start a new plant in South India but company officials have stated that they are yet to finalise a suitable property. The manufacturer is planning to start operations at Argentina as soon as it finds a partner there. Hero will also commence operations in Brazil in 2016. The company is also looking to launch its products in the US and homologation process is still going on for the same. Hero also needs to finalise its branding in the States.
