Hero Xpulse 200 to go on sale from March-end or early April 2019.

Hero Xpulse 200 Side
Since the unveiling of the concept bike, there has been a lot of anticipation for Xpulse 200

The Hero XPulse 200 concept was first revealed internationally at EICMA 2017. Since then, there has been a lot of anticipation for the motorcycle country-wide. The snips from the video show that CS Santosh of the Hero Motorsports Team Rally racer is riding the Xpulse 200. The images show that the bike is identical to the concept that we have seen before.

Hero earlier revealed that the Xpulse 200 will be equipped with a 21-inch front wheel and an 18-inch rear wheel, single-channel ABS and a telescopic fork with 190 mm of travel. Meanwhile, monoshock rear suspension will have 170 mm of wheel travel. The Xpulse 200 has a seat height of 825 mm that might be a bit cumbersome for short riders. The off-roader also gets a high set exhaust to complement its off-road looks.

The Xpulse 200 shares the same engine as the Xtreme 200R, which is a 200cc single-cylinder engine that produces 18.4 BHP and 17.1 Nm of torque. Though, since the bike is off-road oriented, it may feature a different power output and gearing ratio.

The offering from Hero is expected to make up for its predecessor, the Impulse, that didn’t attract customers. The Impulse was launched at a period when the demand for such bikes was low, leading to poor sales. The company expects that the Xpulse 200 hits the right sales figures in the current market.
