Hero Xtreme 160R Specifications — The bike comes with a modern and muscular styling

The much awaited Hero Xtreme 160R has finally hit the showrooms with a starting price of Rs. 99,950/- (ex-showroom, Delhi). The bike is available in two variants – Front Disc and Double Disc.

The Indian bike maker is offering three colour options with the bike – Pearl Silver White, Vibrant Blue and Sports Red.

The overall design looks sporty and modern showcasing the new design direction of Hero MotoCorp. It comes with full LED headlamp with LED DRLs and LED indicators with hazard switch along with LED tail lamp.

There is an all-digital instrument cluster with side stand indicator and engine cut-off feature if the side stand is engaged.

It is powered by a 163cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder, fuel injected BS6 engine producing 15 BHP at 8500 RPM and 14 Nm at 6500 RPM. This engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Hero claims 0-60 km/hr timing of 4.7 seconds.

Suspensions duties are handled by telescopic front fork and 7-step adjustable rear monoshock. There’s 276 mm front petal disc and 220 mm rear petal disc. The drum variant comes with 130 mm rear drum. It is offered with single-channel ABS as standard.

The bike uses 100/80/17 front tyre and 130/70/17 rear tyre. It has length, width and height of 2029 mm, 793 mm and 1052 mm with 1327 mm wheelbase. The seat height is 790 mm and ground clearance is 167 mm.

The single disc variant has a kerb weight of 138.5 kg while the double disc weighs 139.5 kg. It has got a fuel tank capacity of 12-litres.
