Hero has revealed their latest bike Xtreme 160R that will be launched in March.

Hero MotoCorp showcased the Xtreme 1.R Concept at the 2019 EICMA show in Milan. Based on the same concept, the Hero Xtreme 160R production version has been revealed by the Indian two-wheeler maker.

The Xtreme 160R will be launched in March. The design language is new and the styling looks modern. It comes with LED headlight, tail light and turn indicators. There are very smooth design elements which makes it look sporty.

The bike is powered by a 160cc air-cooled BS6 compliant engine that produces 15 BHP at 8500 RPM, mated to a 5-speed gearbox. It has a kerb weight of 138.5 kg. Does 0-60 km/hr in 4.7 seconds.

It gets 37 mm telescopic front forks and 7-step adjustable rear monoshock suspension. Braking duties are carried out by 276 mm front and 220 mm rear petal discs. It has a ground clearance of 170 mm.

It also has hazard light switch, inverted Digital display, side stand engine cut off, etc. The Hero Xtreme 160R will be available in two variants – Front Disc with Single Channel ABS and Double Disc with Single Channel ABS. There are three colour combinations on offer – White with Grey, Blue with Grey and Sports Red with Grey.

On the sidelines of the Xtreme 160R introduction, Hero has also released the pricing of the Glamour BS6, Passion Pro BS6 and XPulse 200 Rally Kit.

The new Hero Glamour BS6 is priced from Rs. 68,900/- (all prices, ex-showroom). It comes with 125cc FI engine producing 10.73 BHP at 7500 RPM and 10.6 Nm at 6000 RPM. It’s built on an new rigid diamond frame with 20 percent more ground clearance, 14 percent more front suspension travel and 10 percent more rear suspension travel.

The Hero Passion Pro BS6 is priced from Rs. 64,990/-. Powered by a 110cc FI engine producing 9.02 BHP at 7500 RPM and 9.79 Nm at 5000 RPM. Built on new diamond frame, front suspension travel increased by 14 percent, rear suspension travel increased by 10 percent, ground clearance increased by 9 percent. Gets revised headlamp, tail lamp and new graphics.

Hero XPulse 200 Rally Kit has also been launched, which is available for Rs. 38,000/-. It will be available at select dealerships from March onwards. It offers fully-adjustable telescopic front fork with 250 mm stroke and fully adjustable 10 step rear monoshock with 220 mm stroke. It comes with flat bench seat, handle bar risers, increased ground clearance of 275 mm, rally tyres by Maxxis, longer side stand and an extended gear lever to accommodate off-road style boots.
