Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has raised prices of the CB Hornet 160R and the CBR250R by Rs. 559/-. While the company hasn’t specified the reason for the price increase, this move comes months after the 2018 versions of both the bikes were launched in March this year.

The base Hornet 160R now costs Rs. 85,234/- while the CBS trim costs Rs. 89,734/-. The ABS STD and ABS DLX variants are priced at Rs. 90,734/- and Rs. 93,234/- respectively. For the Honda CBR250R, the STD trim is now priced at Rs. 1,64,143/- while the top-spec ABS variant costs Rs. 1,93,666/-. The STD variant was earlier priced at Rs. 1,63,584/- while the ABS variant was priced at Rs. 1,93,107/- (all prices, ex-showroom, Delhi).

The 2018 Honda CBR250R gets LED headlight and new body graphics. It draws power from a 249.6cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine which makes 26.5 PS of power and 22.9 Nm of torque. The fuel-injected motor comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The 2018 Honda CB Hornet 160R also gains LED headlight and new colour options. The motorcycle comes powered by a 162.7cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that churns out 15.09 PS of power and 14.5 Nm of torque. The powerplant comes mated to a 5-speed transmission.
