Honda had confirmed few days back that they will be launching the CB300R in India. The bike will be priced below Rs. 2.5 lakhs and now the company has confirmed that it will be launched on 8th February 2019.

The Honda CB300R will be brought down to India via the CKD route and will be assembled here. Honda calls it a Neo Sports Cafe motorcycle and it can be booked by paying Rs. 5000/- at 22 Wing World outlets in India.

The Honda CB300R is powered by a 286cc, single-cylinder, DOHC engine giving out 31.4 HP of power and 27.5 Nm of torque. The engine comes matched to a 6-speed gearbox and the claimed fuel efficiency is 30.2 km/l while the fuel tank capacity is 10-litres.

The bike will be offered in 2 colours – Grey and Red. There is no direct competition for this bike but it will rival the KTM Duke 390, Kawasaki Z250 and BMW G 310 R in India.
