
Honda CB750 Hornet Launched In India, Gets A 755cc Parallel Twin Engine With 270-Degree Crank
Honda has launched the CB750 Hornet in India. The brand has priced the naked sports bike at Rs. 8.59 Lakh (ex-showroom). Honda has opened the bookings for the CB750 Hornet, and deliveries will start in the month of June this year.
Styling
Honda has given the CB750 Hornet sharp bodywork, which accentuates the naked silhouette. There are muscular tank shrouds and an all-LED lighting setup. The CB750 is offered in two shades, i.e. Matte Pearl Glare White and Ballistic Black Metallic.
Engine
A 755cc liquid-cooled parallel twin engine powers the Honda CB750 Hornet. It produces 90.52 HP at 9500 RPM and 75 NM of torque at 7250 RPM. The twin-cylinder engine pairs with a 6-speed gearbox and slipper and assist clutch.
The engine also gets a 270-degree crank, which helps to give the engine its unique character, assisting in strong power delivery.
Brakes & Suspension
Honda has added Showa SFF-BPTM upside-down forks suspension setup to the front and a monoshock setup with Pro-Link swingarm in the rear. In terms of braking, there are dual 296mm discs in the front and a 240mm rear disc. The CB750 Hornet features standard Dual-Channel ABS.
Features
The Honda CB750 Hornet is equipped with features like a 5-inch colour TFT display. It gets Honda Road-Sync App connectivity, Bluetooth-based navigation, call alerts and media controls. Other features include illuminated switchgear, Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) and an emergency stop signal.
Additionally, the CB750 Hornet also features four riding modes, i.e. Sport, Standard, Rain and User which alter the characteristics of the bike based on the respective scenario. Honda will make the CB750 Hornet available across the brand’s premium dealership network Honda BigWing and BigWing Topline.
