Honda X-ADV Launched, Gets a 745cc Engine With DCT Transmission

Honda has launched the X-ADV in India. The company positions the maxi scooter as the brand’s premium offering in the country, pricing it at Rs. 11.9 Lakh (ex-showroom). This also shows the brand’s focus on 2-wheelers with bigger engines like the Transalp XL750.

Styling

The Honda X-ADV gets a sharp and modern design. The front headlights are neatly integrated into the front edges, giving it a unique appearance. You can get the scooter in two colours, i.e., Pearl Glare White and Graphite Black.

Engine

The X-ADV is powered by a 745cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine. It produces 57.8 HP and 69 Nm of torque. The engine pairs with a DCT transmission.

Suspension & Braking

The maxi scooter gets a tubular steel frame that provides necessary structural integrity. In the front, there is a 41mm USD fork suspension setup and a preload-adjustable monoshock setup at the rear. It features 17-inch front and 15-inch wire-spoke wheels with tubeless tyres.

The Honda X-ADV is able to stop with the use of a 296mm dual-disc brake setup at the front and a 240mm single-disc setup at the rear. The maxi scooter gets dual-channel ABS as standard in terms of safety.

Features

It includes features like LED lights, cruise control, Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) with four modes, i.e. Standard, Rain, Sport, and Gravel. There is also a 5-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation.

Honda provides a practical maxi-scooter with a 22-litre storage and USB-C charging port. Bookings for the X-ADV are open via Honda’s BigWing dealerships and website.
