Honda has revealed the all-new CBR650R at the EICMA 2018, it replaces the CBR650F.
Honda has taken the wraps off the all-new CBR650R. The Honda CBR650R is a middle-weight sports bike in the company’s portfolio and it replaces the CBR650F. The new motorcycle gets cosmetic enhancements and mechanical tweaks.
The styling of the CBR650R is very much inspired by the CBR1000RR Fireblade. The bike gets sharp and belligerent lines all across the body. The side fairings have been extended and the rear-section is now shorter in length.
The clip-on handlebars have been moved forward along with foot pegs moved rearward and higher for an aggressive riding position.
The motorcycle comes equipped with slim dual LED headlights. Powering the Honda CBR650R is the same 649cc inline four-cylinder engine which has been tweaked to produce 93 BHP of peak power and 64 Nm of peak torque.
The new Honda also comes with a traction control system which the company calls it as Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) system. The Japanese bike maker is expected to bring this bike to the Indian shores before the end of the second quarter of 2019.
