Honda has just lifted the veils off the Jazz Racing Concept. The Jazz as we know is the company’s premium offering in the hatchback market in India and the racing concept that we see here comes with a lot of cosmetic enhancements over the stock model. The automaker has installed a proper body kit and that includes a complete set of front bumper aprons, rear bumper add-ons, side skirts and a rear spoiler with carbon fibre splattered at many places.

The side skirts make the car look as if it has a very low stance while the front and rear bumper additions are tastefully designed to give the Jazz a sporty appeal. The rear spoiler that is mounted on the tail gate compliments the body kit very nicely. Racing wheels along with lower suspension give the car an excellent stance. The Jazz Racing Concept does look quite good and it perfectly matches the motto of the car, which is to target the youth.

On the inside, the Jazz Racing Concept gets a roll cage and racing seats. Honda also offers an RS version of the Mobilio which also comes with a body kit. The Jazz is offered with a choice of two engines. The petrol engine is a 1.2-litre i-VTEC petrol engine while the oil-burner is a 1.5-litre i-DTEC unit. The Jazz competes with the Hyundai Elite i20, Volkswagen Polo, Maruti Baleno and Fiat Punto Evo.
