The gun metal wheels are a new addition

Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Corporate Edition gets a price tag of Rs. 6,97,700/- (ex-showroom) for the AMT variant

Hyundai has launched the Grand i10 Nios Corporate Edition, a new special edition of the brand’s now entry-level hatchback. This development comes days after the Hyundai pulled the plug on the diesel variants of the car.

The new Corporate Edition sits alongside the Magna variants and Sportz variants of the i10. In fact, it shares many features with the Magna trim. But, as Hyundai has stopped producing diesel engines for the i10, the popular 1.2-litre Kappa petrol will be lone engine on offer on the car.

The new edition gets many exterior and interior enhancements such as the new 6.75-inch touchscreen infotainment system with navigation through smartphone mirroring.

On the inside, the Corporate Edition has sporty all-black interiors with red colour inserts on seats, AC vents, and gear boot.

The car gets auto-folding ORVMs with integrated LED turn indicators as standard fitment. This is a welcome addition as many cars that are nearly twice the price don’t get it.

Some of the other features include 175/60 R15 Gun Metal styled wheels, roof rails, rear chrome garnish, corporate emblem, black-painted ORVMs, and glossy black radiator grille for all colours.

Hyundai recently discontinued the Grand i10 Nios’ DSL Sportz and DSL Sportz AMT diesel variants. The Korean maker also discontinued the entire Santro lineup.

The brand has reportedly pulled the plug on these crucial variants owing to low sales and the burden of manufacturing low-priced diesels when it can sell petrol models for the same price with some feature additions.
