Hyundai Santro Asta variant has been spotted in Marina Blue colour ahead of the launch.
The Hyundai Santro first launched two decades ago and it was a huge success. The 2019 Santro will be launched on October 23 and before the launch, the Asta variant of this entry-level car has been spotted in Marina Blue colour. The manufacturer will sell this car in five variants – D-lite, Era, Magna, Asta and Sportz.
The new Santro gets a new grille with chrome surroundings. The bumpers, ORVMs and door handles on the Asta variant are body coloured. The hatchback will be available in seven colour options – Dyna Green, Typhoon Silver, Star Dust, Fiery Red, Polar White, Imperial Beige and Marina Blue.
On the inside, the car comes with dual-tone beige and black coloured dashboard. The instrument cluster is semi-digital and also gets steering mounted controls. It gets a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and Mirror Link connectivity. The car also comes with rear AC vents and a rear parking camera. Safety-wise the car gets ABS, EBD and driver’s airbag.
Powering the car is a 1.1-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine that produces 68.05 BHP and 99 Nm of torque. The petrol variant comes with an option of a manual gearbox or an automatic transmission. Hyundai will be offering a CNG variant too but the output from the engine will be less at 58.2 BHP and 84 Nm.
