Hero Destini 125 Launch
The Destini 125 looks appealing with the blacked out wheels

Hero has launched the all-new Destini 125 today. The scooter is attractively designed with convenient features to offer a good ride. Hero has launched the scooter just on the festive season and deliveries will begin in three weeks of time, while in Delhi it will begin from Diwali.

The Hero Destini 125 gets an auto headlamp, external fuel cap, boot lamp, charging port and a semi-digital instrument console. It also gets smart start/stop technology from the Splendor i3S to save fuel while waiting at the traffic signals. The blacked out wheels wrapped with 90/100/10 section tyres are decent to handle a 111.5 kg (kerb weight) scooter.

This scooter unfortunately doesn’t get any option of disc brakes, while Hero’s Integrated Braking System is offered as standard. This system divides the rider’s action of depressing one of the brake levers into both the brakes, same as CBS.

The Destini 125 is powered by a 124.6cc engine which produces 8.7 BHP at 6750 RPM and 10.2 Nm of torque at 5000 RPM. The engine has a good low-end performance for good ridability in city traffic. The seat is big and well cushioned to accommodate two people with ease.

Hero has priced this scooter at Rs. 54,650/- (ex-showroom) for LX trim and is available in five colour options – red, brown, black, silver and white. The Distini 125 competes with a list of scooters including Honda Activa 125, TVS NTorq 125, Honda Grazia, Suzuki Access 125 and Burgman Street 125.
