Only 1000 units of the Hyundai Verna Anniversary Edition will be sold to commemorate its first anniversary.
With the festive season just started, Hyundai has launched the anniversary edition of the Verna that completes one year of its launch this month. To keep the exclusivity of the anniversary edition, Hyundai is only selling 1000 units of this edition.
This anniversary edition model will be based on the Verna SX(O) trim. It will be available in two colour options – Marina Blue and Polar White. The old beige and black dual tone cabin will be ditched for an all-black treated interior with some blue accents with the anniversary edition.
This exclusive model will get some additional features like a wireless phone charging pod, rear spoiler and front & rear skid plate. It gets black ORVMs and black shark fin antenna in the Marina Blue car, whereas, the ORVMs and shark fin antennae will be body coloured for the Polar White car.
Under the hood there are no changes. The Verna limited edition will be available with two engine options – 1.6-litre petrol and 1.6-litre diesel. The petrol unit gives an output of 121.3 BHP and 151 Nm, whereas, the power figures of the diesel unit is 126.3 BHP and 259 Nm. The petrol variant will be available in both 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission, but the diesel variant is available only in a 6-speed manual transmission.
