Isuzu D-Max Hi-Lander Launch
Expect to hear more news about the new Hi-Lander model soon

Isuzu is set to launch the BS6-compliant V-Cross along with a new D-Max Hi-Lander variant of the pickup, soon in India.

It is well known that the Japanese automaker has been working towards introducing the updated V-Cross and the lifestyle vehicle is expected to be put on sale in the market this month.

What is new this time, apart from the vehicle being compliant with latest emissions regulations, is the fact that a new Hi-Lander version of the pickup will also be introduced.

On its website, the brand has commenced a contest for existing V-Cross and MU-X customers, the prize for which is a new V-Cross, and in the webpage lies a sentence which reads “Be prepared to experience V-Cross and Hi-Lander”.

What we know about the Hi-Lander variant, which is on sale in Nepal, is that it is based on the D-Max S-Cab, but comes with a bit more creature comforts and alloy wheels.

The Isuzu D-Max Hi-Lander launch will ultimately see the pickup range grow and it is expected to be powered by a 1.9-litre diesel engine rather than the 2.5-litre unit which comes in the regular S-Cab and it will have 4-wheel-drive as well.

Moreover, it is said that Isuzu might bring the current generation V-Cross in India with a 3.0-litre diesel engine and this variant is expected to be priced rather high.
