Jeep Compass 5th Anniversary Edition sits below the Model S and Trailhawk variants of the SUV
Jeep India has launched the Compass 5th Anniversary Edition for a price tag of Rs. 24,44,000/- (ex-showroom). It has been launched to commemorate the Compass’ fifth anniversary in India. Bookings are open at Jeep dealerships and on Jeep India website.
The American maker introduced the Compass back in 2017 and, since then, the SUV has garnered a fan following across the country thanks to its design, high ground clearance, and advanced four-wheel-drive system making it off-road-ready right out of the showroom.
The new special edition comes with a handful of exclusive features. They include Satin Granite Crystal lower fascia, body-coloured claddings, accent colour roof rails, 18-inch Granite Crystal finish alloy wheels, and the commemorative 5th Anniversary badging.
Other features include leather seats with Light Tungsten accent stitching, auto dimming IRVM, Piano Black and Anodized Gun Metal interior accents, Black headliner, ORVMs with Neutral Grey accent badging, Gloss Black grille with Neutral Grey ring, bodycolor fender flares, Black daylight opening moldings, and body colored sill molding.
The Jeep Compass 5th Anniversary edition will be offered with 2 engine options – the 1.4-litre Multiair petrol with 7-speed DDCT AT and the 2-litre Multijet diesel with 6-speed MT in 4×2 configuration.
The top-of-the-line 4×4 configuration will be offered with the 2-litre Multijet diesel with 9-speed AT and Selc-Terrain. This configuration should be a hoot to drive off the roads.
It is to be noted that, just a few months ago, Jeep India launched the Night Eagle trim of the Compass. Featuring an all-black theme, the Night Eagle got a gloss-black finish for the grille with unique rings, 18-inch alloy wheels, roof rail, ORVMs, fog lamp bezels, etc.
On the inside, the new trim featured a piano black interior with black cloth/vinyl seats with light tungsten stitching and black vinyl inserts for the door trim.
The features on offer included a 10.1-inch infotainment system, a 7-inch instrument cluster, dual-zone automatic climate control, hill start assist, all-speed traction control system (TCS), electronic stability control (ESC), and electronic parking brake.
