Jeep is preparing to launch new 3-row SUV based on Compass

Jeep is planning to expand their portfolio in India with new products. The Jeep Compass facelift will be one of the first products for this expansion starting from early 2021.

The Compass facelift is expected to launch in India in the first quarter of 2021. It will receive substantial changes in terms of new styling and updated features.

The mid-life update of the Jeep Compass will get new headlights, grille, bumpers and tail lights. We can expect new alloy wheel design and new colour options for the updated model as well.

The interior will get some tweaks including new upholstery and colour tones. Jeep is likely to offer a long list of new features including a larger touchscreen infotainment system and connected car technology.

Next up will be a 3-row SUV based on the Compass platform that will compete against the Toyota Fortuner and Ford Endeavour. It will get a similar AWD setup from the Compass and Jeep officials claim, it’ll be equally capable off-road.

The American carmaker is also planning to introduce a sub 4-metre SUV in India. It will get the AWD system but the timeline of launch isn’t confirmed yet.

The new Jeep Grand Cherokee launch is on the cards as well, which will be the new generation version. It’ll be bigger than the current gen Grand Cherokee.
