Kawasaki Ninja 300R

In India, at this time, there is good demand of sports bikes and still increasing among the youths. Kawasaki India is also selling good numbers of bikes in the market with their favorite Ninja 250R. And now, there is a rumor that Kawasaki is bringing the Ninja 300R to the Indian market this Diwali. Although the Ninja 250R and the Ninja 300R feature similar styling, both the bikes will be sold together in the market. A huge party was organized by Kawasaki in two city block radius around Times Square, New York on 13th September, demonstrating stunts, some classic bikes and new bikes. The 2013 Kawasaki Ninja 300R will not be a replacement for the Ninja 250R.

The Kawasaki Ninja 300R get its power from a liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, 296cc Parallel Twin engine. Kawasaki is bringing the Ninja 300R with new fuel injection system with dual throttle valves. With the 6-speed return transmission, the Ninja 300R gives out enhanced acceleration and higher top speed while maintaining lower RPM than before, improving both on engine emissions and fuel consumption. The 2013 Ninja 300R rolls on 110/70 tyre up front and 140/70 tyre at the rear. Single 290 mm petal disc at the front and 220 mm disc at therear provides stopping power, ABS is included as an option.

The Kawasaki Ninja 300R includes a digital console, aluminum foot-pegs and a steel tube diamond frame. The bike weighs around 172 kgs and 174 kgs with ABS, and with a fuel-tank capacity of 17-litres. The Ninja 300R will come in White, Green and Red color options. The bike is currently undergoing testing at Vehicle Research and Development Establishment (VRDE) in India. ARAI is supposedly conducting the brake tests for the bike. Kawasaki’s Indian partner, Bajaj Auto is planning on launching the Ninja 300R during this festive season. The 2013 Ninja 300R will be priced atleast Rs. 50,000/- over the current Ninja 250R. With the entry of the Ninja 300R, the Indian motorcycle market is sure to see good times roll.
