Kawasaki Versys X 300 spotted in Pune

Kawasaki enthusiasts have been eagerly anticipating the arrival of the Versys X 300 adventure motorcycle and recent sightings of test mules have provided some insights into what can be expected from this upcoming model. With its design and bodywork resembling its international counterpart, the Versys X 300 looks promising for adventure bike lovers.

One notable aspect of the Versys X 300’s design is its single pod headlight, complemented by a transparent visor above, giving it a distinctive appearance on the road. Additionally, the bike features long tank extensions that not only enhance its aesthetic appeal but also serve a functional purpose by covering the radiator guard.

Kawasaki is expected to equip the Versys X 300 with the same 296cc parallel-twin cylinder engine found in the Ninja 300. This engine configuration delivers a power output of 39 BHP and 26.1 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox.

In terms of features, the Versys X 300 is likely to offer bulb illumination throughout, along with dual-channel ABS and a side-stand cut-off sensor. The bike’s hardware includes telescopic front forks and a monoshock at the rear. The braking system comprises front and rear disc brakes mounted on spoke wheels wrapped in tube tyres.

While the price of the Versys X 300 in the US is set at USD 6199 (around Rs. 5.14 lakhs excluding taxes), it is expected that the bike may retail at a slightly lower price point in the Indian market.
