Bookings for the motorcycle have commenced across Kawasaki dealerships pan-India and it is available only in the Flat Ebony colour.

Being a cruiser bike, the Kawasaki Vulcan S gets all the necessary cruiser design elements like a low seat height, forward-set (relaxed) footpegs and a long wheelbase. The headlight gets a unique inverted triangle shape while the distinctively styled alloy wheels, under-engine exhaust and the tight-fit rear fender adds modern style.

Other key highlights in the Kawasaki Vulcan S are adjustable clutch and brake levers, analogue-digital instrumentation, 14-litres fuel tank capacity and adjustable foot pegs! Yes, the footpegs get three positions, standard, 25 mm (1-inch) forward and 25 mm (1-inch) backward.

Powering the Vulcan S is a 649cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled and fuel-injected motor. Mated to a 6-speed gearbox, the powertrain produces 61 PS at 7500 RPM and 63 Nm of torque at 6600 RPM. Suspended by 41 mm telescopic forks up front and a preload adjustable monoshock at the rear, the motorcycle uses a 300 mm disc brake for the front wheel and a 250 mm disc brake for the rear.
