Kia launched the Seltos in India last year and now the company is gearing up to launch the Carnival premium MPV at the 2020 Auto Expo. The Korean automaker is also going to reveal the new QYi compact SUV concept which will be making its world debut at the Expo.

Sketches of the Kia QYi have now been revealed. The vehicle will embody Kia’s Power To Surprise slogan in India. In terms of size, the vehicle will be a bit smaller than the Seltos and from the sketches, it looks like it will carry a very sharp design language.

The compact SUV concept gets striking wheels, a nicely sculpted fascia and a clean looking side. The rear gets a sleek design and the styling of the C-pillar stands out. There’s a thin red light strip which connects both the tail lamps. The SUV will be under 4-metres in length.

Kia hasn’t officially revealed the name of the vehicle but it is likely to be called Sonet. More details like equipment, engines, etc. will be revealed at the unveil of the vehicle but it is likely to come with 3 engine options – 1.5-litre petrol & diesel and a 1.0-litre turbo petrol. It will also get a long equipment list along with connected car features.
