Kia Seltos facelift is available in 18 variants, price revealed

Kia Seltos facelift launched with a starting price of Rs. 10.89 lakhs (ex-showroom & introductory). It is available in 18 variants and 3 engine options. It received 13,424 bookings on the first day.

The facelifted car gets new styling elements including new headlights, bumper, grille, tail lights and alloy wheels. It comes in 7 colour options – Pewter Olive, Imperial Blue, Intense Red, Glacier White Pearl, Gravity Grey, Aurora Black Pearl and Sparkling Silver. There are 2 dual tone colour options as well.

The interior gets some changes as well which includes the new Dual Screen Panoramic Display that comes with 10.23-inch touchscreen infotainment system and 10.23-inch all-digital high resolution instrument cluster. Another much awaited feature is the new panoramic sunroof. The pre-facelift model came with a small sunroof. It also gets dual-zone automatic climate control and electronic parking brake.

Other features include 360 degree camera, 8-inch head-up display, rain-sensing wipers, 8-speaker Bose system, etc.

The GT-Line and X-Line trims now get Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) with 17 autonomous features. It has got 1 camera and 3 radars for features including Forward collision avoidance assist, lane keep assist and smart cruise control with Stop & Go.

Kia is offering 15 safety features as standard across the lineup. Some of the safety tech includes 6 airbags, HAC (Hill-Start Assist Control), ESC (Electronic Stability Control) and VSM (Vehicle Stability Management).

The Kia Seltos Facelift is available in three engine options. The 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine continues to be on offer, producing 115 HP and 144 Nm torque. It is available with 6-speed manual and IVT automatic transmission.

The 1.5-litre diesel engine continues as well, producing 116 HP and 250 Nm of torque. It is offered with only 6-speed iMT and 6-speed automatic transmission option, there is no manual on offer.

The biggest change here is the replacement of 1.4-litre turbo petrol engine with the new 1.5-litre turbo petrol unit which produces 160 HP and 253 Nm of torque. It is available with 6-speed iMT and 7-speed DCT automatic transmission.

The Kia Seltos facelift competes with a wide range of cars including Hyundai Creta, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun, MG Astor and the upcoming Honda Elevate.
