Kia Seltos Teased In Official Video

Kia gets us a new teaser video of the Seltos shown in the signature red paint scheme.

The Kia Seltos will be globally unveiled on June 20th. The company has now teased us with a new video. In the teaser video, the car’s exteriors have been highlighted. The highlights include sharp LED headlamp, bold shoulder line, roof rails, tiger nose grille and the tail lights. The end of the video is where the silhouette of the front fascia of the car is revealed in its entirety.

The Seltos will be offered in two engine options, 1.5-litre petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel. Both the engines will come with a 6-speed manual and automatic transmission options. The engines offered will be BS6 compliant when launched in the market.

The Korean carmaker has revealed the sketches of the car a few days back and the design looks quite modern. The interiors are premium too for the segment it competes in.

Kia Seltos will feature a huge 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system that will offer features like Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Navigation, etc. The SUV will also be offering mood lighting, adaptive cruise control, steering mounted paddle shifts, etc. The car is also expected to get a host of connected features, something similar to the BlueLink on the Hyundai Venue.

The Seltos is expected to be priced between Rs. 10-16 lakhs (ex-showroom). Upon launch, the new Kia Seltos will go up against the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Nissan Kicks, Renault Captur, Tata Harrier, MG Hector and Jeep Compass.
