After a lot of anticipation, rumours and spy shots, we can finally see the KTM 390 Adventure hitting the Indian shores this year. The Austrian bike maker will be revealing the 390 Adventure first at the EICMA show in Milan in November. It will later make its India debut at the India Bike Week in December 6-7, 2019.

It will be the entry-level adventure motorcycle from KTM and will give a tough fight to the rivals. It will be competing head on with the Royal Enfield Himalayan, BMW G 310 GS and the Kawasaki Versys X-300 in the Indian market. Since the latter two are quite expensive, we believe the KTM 390 Adventure will prove to be a good value for money proposition.

It will be sharing the same engine from the Duke 390. It is a 373.2cc motor that churns out 44 HP and 37 Nm but the tuning for the Adventure motorcycle will be different. The production of the KTM 390 Adventure will start at the Chakan plant very soon. It will be made in the same assembly line as the Husqvarna Svartpilen and Vitpilen 401 bikes.
