Mahindra is going to enter the US market by launching an off-road SUV and some SsangYong vehicles.
Mahindra is all set to enter the American market by 2019. The company’s American operations will be headed by the Mahindra North American Technical Centre which is their R&D centre based in Detroit. The R&D centre has developed an all-new off-road SUV that will be launched in America.
Apart from that, SsangYong will also launch some vehicles there. The Korean company will launch its products in the American market in the next 18 months. Mahindra had some legal cases going on in the US but they have now been cleared. The R&D centre in Detroit has developed two new products – one for the US market and the other for the Indian market and it will be launched in the upcoming fiscal.
