Mahindra has launched the AMT version of its compact SUV XUV300 and the AMT is available in the diesel W8 and W8 (O) variants for now. The AMT variants are priced at a premium of Rs. 55,000/- over their respective manual variants and the equipment list remains the same.

The Mahindra XUV300 AMT is available in 3 colours – Aquamarine, Red Rage and Pearl White. Deliveries will commence today itself. The AMT comes with a Creep function in which the car can move without accelerator inputs in first and reverse gears.

The vehicle also gets a manual mode, Electronic Stability Control and a function where the Creep mode gets disabled if any of the doors are open. Current gear, driving modes, etc. will be shown on a display in the MID. The 6-speed AMT is mated to the same 1.5-litre diesel engine which produces 116.6 PS of power and 300 Nm of torque.
