2017 Maruti Celerio Facelift Price
The Maruti Celerio CNG gets a 1.0-litre K-Series petrol engine

The 2020 Maruti Celerio S-CNG has been launched in its BS6 avatar. The factory-fitted CNG kit is offered in three variants – H2 Tour for the commercial segment and VXi and VXi(O) for the private consumer segment.

The Maruti Celerio S-CNG is powered by a 998cc, 3-cyl, K-Series petrol engine delivering 58 HP and 78 Nm when running on CNG and 67 HP and 90 Nm when running on petrol. This engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.

The Maruti Celerio is a basic hatchback known for its no-nonsense nature and ease of use. Few years back Maruti had launched a diesel variant too, with an in-house developed 2-cylinder diesel engine but it was later discontinued due to the fact that most sales were coming from the petrol variants.

The Maruti Celerio VXi gets equipment like AC, power steering, power windows, driver-side airbag, ABS, high speed alerts and seat-belt reminders while the VXi(O) is equipped with a passenger side airbag, security system and front seat-belt pretensioners.
