Maruti Future S Concept
New teaser sheds light on the SUV-styled concept’s looks

Maruti teased the Future S concept compact car earlier this month and just over a fortnight later, has released yet another teaser image of the concept. The Future S concept will be making its debut at the 2018 Auto Expo and we’re all excited to know and see what is this concept all about.

Presenting an all-new design language, the Future S concept previews the design direction for future Maruti compact cars. Coming to the teaser image, while the first image revealed the side profile of the concept, the latest teaser image reveals the LED DRLs in the front fascia. They resemble the shape of an elongated ‘W’. The concept is just over 200 mm shorter than the Maruti Vitara Brezza and could very well emerge as an SUV-styled compact car rivalling the Renault Kwid. Likely to enter production towards the end of 2018 or in early 2019, the production-ready car will be based on the Heartect platform.

Along with the Future S concept, Maruti will launch the new Swift and also exhibit the e-Survivor (an EV) concept at the Expo.
