Mercedes B-Class Interior

Mercedes-Benz has unveiled the interiors of the new B-Class, showcasing the high quality and details of the upcoming premium compact. The German automaker will launch the next generation B-Class in 4 variants including modern, sport and classic. The three large circular vents in the center of the dashboard are inspired from Ferrari supercars. While the screen behind the vents is available in two sizes to display important information including navigation and infotainment. The B-Class features a 3-spoke steering wheel while the instrument clusters are very similar to what the company offers on its other cars.

The new Mercedes B-Class will makes its international debut at the IAA in Frankfurt (13th to 25th September 2011). The B-Class will be launched in Europe in November 2011, followed by its India unveil at the 2012 Auto Expo. Mercedes-Benz plans to launch the new B-Class in India in 2012 and will offer the premium compact in both petrol and diesel options. The company will not locally assemble the B-Class at its Chakan facility as it does not have the necessary tooling for CKD operation of the B-Class. Hence, the car will be imported from Europe and will have a starting price of around Rs. 20 lakhs.
