Mercedes-Benz has introduced the C-Class Edition C which is priced from Rs. 42.54 lakhs.

Mercedes-Benz India has expanded its C-Class lineup with the launch of new Edition C on different variants of the popular executive sedan. Besides subtle enhancements on the exterior and interior, the company also introduced the designo Hyacinth red shade.

As part of the Night package, the Edition C flaunts a black finish on the beltline, front twin louvres, rearview mirrors and side skirts. Spoiler lip at the front and the rear spoiler also receive black treatment. Logo projector on front doors and Edition C badging bring additional flair while taking care of exclusivity.

There are no mechanical changes and the C-Class Edition C continues to be propelled with two engine options – a 2.0-litre 184 BHP diesel unit and a 2.2-litre mill, which is provided in 170 BHP (C220) and 204 BHP (C250) tunes. Transmission options also remain identical across the variants.

Interior changes are limited to open-pore black ash wood trim for the cabin and Sports pedals which come in stainless steel finish. The Garmin Map Pilot system has been made standard. The Edition C is available at Rs. 42.54 lakhs, Rs. 43.54 lakhs and Rs. 46.87 lakhs for the Avantgarde trims of C200, C220d and C250d respectively (ex-showroom, India).
