The SUV measures 5005 mm in length, 1932 mm in width and 1875 mm in height. Also, the wheelbase measures 2950 mm. The suspension set-up in the MG Gloster includes dual helix independent at the front and 5-link integral at the rear. In terms of safety, the SUV has been awarded a 5-star rating in the Australia NCAP crash tests wherein 70% of the body is made of steel and 9% is made of thermoformed steel.

The MG Gloster gets features such as a 360-degree camera, TPMS, sunroof, dual-zone air-conditioning, an 8-way power-adjustable driver seat, a 12-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a panoramic sunroof, connected car tech, six airbags, hill descent control and so on.

Internationally, the MG Gloster is powered by a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox. The powertrain churns 224 PS of power. However, in India the company might introduce its own in-house-developed 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel that delivers 218 PS and 480 Nm of torque.

The MG Gloster is expected to be priced around Rs. 40-45 lakhs and it will compete with the likes of the Mahindra Alturas G4, Toyota Fortuner and Ford Endeavour.
