A Racing Red TVS Apache RR 310 from Pondicherry, Tamil Nadu has been cosmetically modified to resemble the BMW S1000RR.
Ever since its launch in the country, the TVS Apache RR 310 has become a hot favourite of biking enthusiasts because of its non-offensive overall package. The flagship TVS, priced at Rs. 2.13 lakhs (ex-showroom, Mumbai), commands a waiting period of upto 4 months depending on the location. Many owners who have had their machines delivered haven’t shied away from performing modifications. Last month, video of a TVS Apache RR 310 modified with dual under-seat exhaust was doing rounds on the internet and now, we have pictures of another RR 310 that has been modified to look like the BMW S1000RR.
The TVS Apache RR 310 in question has received a custom paint job which imitates the Racing Red & Light White paint scheme of the BMW S1000RR rather well. Few parts of the motorcycle are finished in white such as the headlight cowl and the front fender while the fuel tank gets a red, white and black livery. Apart from prominent BMW badging and rims stripes, the motorcycle get an RR badge on the side panels along with black graphics to replicate BMW’s gill-shaped recesses. There is a black wrap on the front visor but the owner hasn’t tried to execute the asymmetrical split-face of the S1000RR.
Apart from that, the Apache’s key has also been modified to look like that of a BMW! It is believed that the changes are limited to cosmetic mods and the bike’s mechanicals are completely stock. Powering the Apache RR 310 is a 312cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled and fuel-injected motor that develops 33.5 HP of power and 27.3 Nm of torque. The faired motorcycle gets dual-channel ABS, bi-LED projector headlamps and KYB suspension as standard and rivals the likes of KTM RC 390 and Benelli 302R.
